GuardReserveJobs.com FAQs
1. As an employer, how do I submit a Job
Vacancy?
Visit the
www.guardreservejobs.com website and click on employer - create an
account then post your job vacancy. For detailed instructions
click here. You no longer have to email your job announcements and
changes to us. Each emplyer (unit) is responsible and has the
access to post and edit their own job vacancies in real-time.
2. Do I need to register an account to browse
the jobs?
No, you can browse as a "guest". However, to unleash the full
power of our website, we recommend creating a free user account so that
you may post information, save search results, and much more.
3. Do I need to create separate Job Vacancy
postings for each crew position in my unit?
Yes, unfortunately, it will require a few minutes of extra work.
You will need to post a separate job vacancy (job advertisement) for
each and every crew position in your unit. This is so that when
users are searching for jobs by crew position, each individual job and
crew position will show up in their search query.
4. I have several different persons in my unit
trying to post Job Vacancies - how can they do this?
Each unit has one logon (one username and password) - additionally
there is one POC and email address that is linked to that unit's
account. If you have several persons in your unit that post job
vacancies, they will need to share that unit's logon information.
Or you can create unit accounts for each crew position that is posting a
job vacancy (i.e. 95AS Pilots, 95AS Loadmasters, etc.)
5. I am trying to post a Job Vacancy and don't
see the appropriate Job Category listed as an option
Contact us
with a recommended job category addition and we will modify the website
in order to accommodate your unit. We tried to pre-load all
conceivable Job Categories and sub-categories, but there will always be
the exception...
